Given the socio-economic abysmal and deteriorating scenario in the country and most unfortunately the emerging campaign of denigration, inimical and detrimental inclinations against Sen. Obama, it is with absolutely gratification that he has chosen to continue to be objective, tolerant, broadminded and remain focus on the issues that bothers the American people rather than get involved in the perpetuation of the kind of dogmatic and archaic rhetoric’s and advertisement that his rival has been churning out even to the disgust of many Americans.
Rather than engage in what many of us have come to identify as celebrity birthday bash, in outmost humility and commitment to the ideals of his campaign for hope and change in the country, Sen. Obama saturated his birthday celebration with a resounding, affirmative and essentially a turning point economic manifesto before Americans highlighting a thorough refining and pragmatism about how best to rescue the ailing economic maladies confronting the nation.
While exercising complete command about his knowledge and sounds understanding of the reality of our time, he also recognizes the necessity of as usual being a good listener in the same fashion that he has manifested even in his recently concluded Europe and Middle East trip to the delight of all and sundry.
It is amazing that rather than Americans giving him a birthday celebration, Sen. Obama again went out of his ways to give us an unforgettable celebration of his 47th birthday by uplifting and inspiring every Americans not to give up on hope and also to believe in the fact that together with him this country can be resurrected from the prevailing economic downturn.
Retrospectively therefore, I am more than pleased and completely exhilarated with his continual display of maturity, objectivity, self sacrifice, empathy, understanding and above all his willingness to listen to others and incorporate their opinion in a fashion that will bring about progress rather than constitute retrogression in the quest to make the country a better place.
The best birthday celebration and gift in my opinion we can give to this dynamic, energetic, humane, well informed and articulate senator is to help his people’s movement for hope and change in the country, and the campaign for the White House to become a reality, so that beginning from bottom to the top, Americans can once more regain the confidence in their leaders and government’s ability to look out for their interest rather than those of the special interests and multi-national big time corporations.
Happy birthday Senator and my family and I wish you many happy returns, as we all slowly but gradually anticipate the historic change that awaits the nation and by extrapolation the entire humanity.
God bless USA

Reflection on Obama’s call for National Service
Through out the current political dispensation, Sen. Obama has maintained he essentiality and core values of his fundamental ideologies and convictions in his quest to serve as the commander in chief of this great country.
Retrospectively it is very important to point out the fact that his desire to serve the people in this capacity was not borne out of the necessity to orchestrate and propagate the dogmatism of vertical relationship between leaders and those being led as we have seen in the most recent past, rather his is most importantly tailor after his experience as a community organizer on the street of Chicago in which he saw first hand the dire conditions of fellow Americans and human beings in one of the greatest country of the world.
The fire to serve the people in a better capacity of influencing decisions that can catapult the ordinary American’s life into one in which he or she is comfortable and the country is healthy, socially, economically and political must be construe as the fundamental urgency and necessity that informed his decision to run for the presidency, no matter how we may look at it.
While the reason for this brief article was importantly to focus on the senator’s call for national services, nevertheless I felt it is wise to highlight some of the obvious rationale for his running for the presidency of the United States of America, hence the above narrative.
For those of us who have been privilege to see the world from the eyes of the developing countries of the world where poverty is kind of a second nature, it is very easy to appreciate the argument, mentality, inclinations and rationale for Sen. Obama to pursue the quest for the White House even with little or no initial ‘big time money’ supporters like the others. His capacity to believe in the good will of the American people irrespective of greed, race, political affiliation and or economic status must be counted as a tremendous gift and vision for a young and dynamic senator like him.
The emphasis on the necessity for national service especially in light of the involvement of the youths immediately fill my faculty with nostalgia and reminiscent of the National Youth Service Corp program of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This program is a non- military one which encourages Nigerians on the essentiality of getting to know more about their country and help develop a nationalistic inclinations and better understanding among its diverse ethnicity, religion and socio-political strata. By and large not withstanding some inherent hiccups especially in terms of implementations, it is wise to conclude that the NYCS has indeed benefited the majority of Nigerian baccalaureate graduates that have participated in the program.
Given the fact that the United States of America is a developed country and actually one of the greatest in the world, I can vividly envision the enormous potential of having a youth program that will be fundamentally geared toward helping the current and future generation to work within the communities that is challenging and different from those of their ‘comfort zone’ as part of the sacrifices of getting to know the country better, and appreciate its diversity in terms of race, socio-economic and religious inclinations.
One of the immediate benefit of getting Americans to become engage in one another’s life and serve the nation as a patriotic volunteer ( during which stipends, board and meals will be provided by the scheme facilitators) is the direct impact it will have on stereotypes and media sensationalism and in some cases fallacies.
Furthermore, an individual that understand the people and community in which he or she had worked before is better position to defend then than one whose only knowledge is based on second hand information. For instance without an iota of doubt, many Americans that I have come in contact with were really shocked and astonished to learn from my family and me that in Africa we do not live on top of the trees like monkeys, and that in fact life can be very pleasurable in it’s own ways too. Today I am pleased to say some of these my friends have since visited Nigeria more than four times in the past 7 years!
Sen. Obama is indeed a visionary leader that has the foresight, wisdom and vision to that can transform the Americans into becoming more nationalistic and loving to the diversity that abound within the country and furthermore extrapolates such gain in helping to globalize humanity in a pragmatic and realistic fashion yet to be seen in this country.
Summarily I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that if he is given the mandate to lead the people in the capacity as the commander in chief, this country stands to gain a lot at home and overseas. It is also necessary to point out that it is only Sen. Obama as of today that has the manifesto to authentically link the domestic economy with foreign relations. In other words, healthy, humane, diplomatic and candid foreign policies will also be a recipe for sound economic growth and integration within the world politics in such a way that America shall be able to occupy the position of being the true world leader, helping other nations to fight injustices, racism, terrorism, poverty, man inhumanity to man and above all create the atmosphere of freedom and the abode of haven for mankind.

Sen. Obama’s Pragmatism on Trade Agreement!
I am completely astound by Sen. McCain insistence that America as a country ought to stick to the status quo in terms of Trade Agreements with other countries even at the expense of a thoroughly and comprehensibly articulated position that will protect the American people, and the other countries citizens, while at the same time rejuvenating and affirmatively transforming the socio-economic status of the countries involved.
It is totally wrong and by no means myopic for this veteran Senator McCain to once more lie to the America by attempting to enforced on its citizenry his personal convictions about “free trade” without even retrospectively reviewing and concretely analyzing the detrimental and inimical scenarios that are bound to rear its ugly heads once a trade is negotiated purely on the political basis without taking a holistic approach that must preserve the individual countries integrity and humanity in general.
Retrospectively Sen. McCain has supported practically all free trade agreement since being in the senate. In order words it may be wise to say he is color blind as long as free trade is concerned. The next president of this great country cannot afford to be color blind when the issue of free trade is on the table for various reasons.
While free trade is a good opportunity for regional and continental integration and harmony, and trades that does not preserve, protect and articulate the necessity of a holistic uplifting of those that are involved in such a trade should never be encouraged since the socio-economic and political implications are better imagine than describe.
Why is Sen. McCain not pursuing a free trade agreement with countries such as Iran and Syria, since he has severally contested that such a trade bring countries together for the common good? Without an iota of doubt, his position on free trade is dogmatic, archaic, sentimental, personal and detrimental to the reality of our times. I am not surprise by that, nevertheless it is important to point out that his lack of economic knowledge will lead this country into the worst abysses of socio-economic scenario ever if he is given the opportunity to maintain the status quos. In Mexico and Columbia he continued to taut his preference for free trades without even considering the implications of them.
On the other hand, Sen. Obama has clearly, pragmatically and competently maintained that free trades that do not have the capacity, ability and capability of making the countries involved experiencing growth rates economically and otherwise as direct consequences of such a trade should not be encouraged if the option of re-negotiation is off the table. This articulation is a fundamental of economics and should not be difficult for even Sen. McCain and his allies to comprehend.
I believe there are some issues of national interest that should never and ever be politicize just for personal gains or the substantiation of the favoritism of special interests and lobbyists over Americans. Issues such as the wellbeing of Americans, the protection of the nation’s integrity and security of its people, healthcare, education energy and climatic change just to mention but few should never be reflected upon from the political kaleidoscope, as such an action will be harmful and subjective to the ideal of the nation and the quest to make it better than it is right now.
In light of the above, I sincerely side with Sen. Obama’s modernized version of reflecting, articulating and maintaining free trade with American partners within the region and world wide. He has insisted that any such free trade must include the humane clause of economic progression for the countries involved by allowing each party to realistically review what is working and otherwise, while at the same time willing to protect its citizens, labor forces and the country’s economic stature in order not to endanger the future for the generation to come.
Summarily, free trades that is strictly politically engineered rather than taking into account the country’s socio-economic necessity and also without a thorough comprehension of the indispensability of adhering to the labor laws that protect workers and job should never be encouraged to thrive, unless the parties involved are willing to review the agreement in such a way that there is to an extent an even representation of cost, consequences and profit from such a venture.
While Sen. McCain lacks the technicalities involved in such trades other than to wantonly support them, Sen. Obama on the other hand is maintaining an outstandingly pragmatic, cautious, humane, transparent and competent posture on the issue of free trade by ensuring that if such a scenario is not helping to sustain the country’s economy, then the country has the right to review and decide on what steps are necessary to transform, rejuvenate and reconstruct its goal of making the country as economically sound as possible.
I am always fascinated by the depth of the socio-economic and political knowledge base of this young, vibrant and energetic senator from Illinois. This country is indeed truly blessed and the world will be better with his candidacy than any other. Hopefully Americans will rescue the entire world by electing Sen. Obama as the next president of the United States of America.

The Sen. Obama Factor! : A Nuclear Free Tehran is world asset
The world has stood and watched in consternation the defiance of the state of Iran over halting its controversial nuclear ambition until about 32 minutes in which President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for the first time following the tough position of the USA on using unilateralism and militarism as the only veritable option to stop Iran from acquiring nuclear arsenal capable of undermining world peace have unequivocally spoken on the necessity of finding a common ground with the USA and five other countries on moving forward and hopefully diplomatically resolving the issue for good:
http://www.reuters.com/article/worldNews/idUSN2846109220080728
Without an iota of doubt this news may come as a ‘gospel’ and definitely bring about at least for the moment a sigh of relief for the whole world and especially the western hemisphere that has continued to insinuate that Iran quest might amount to detrimental consequences on humanity.
The larger picture however should not be lost to those of us that have been watching this drama unfold since the year 2000, to be more specific. In the United States of America and under the incumbent, President George Bush, it is a known fact that Iran has not only defied the country but has as a matter of fact make caricature of the administration, without the later having the moral authority to do anything more than to stand and watch as helplessly as it can be. While the entire world countries are skeptical about the intention of Tehran, it could do little under the influence of the country to enlighten Iran on the necessity to give up its nuclear ambition.
However, the emergent of the prince of peace and the ‘light’ of contemporary political pragmatism and realism have diplomatically and methodologically inculcate into the mentality of all interested parties on the essentiality of dialogue and tough talk based on mutual understanding and the need to propagate humanity and not to destroy it. Within the horizon of realism it will be accurate to unequivocally states that if not for the position of Sen. Obama, the dynamic, humane, energetic and transparently compassionate senator from Illinois, without doubt Iran will still remain as defiance as ever!
Sen. Obama was able to tell the entire world that peace can be achieve not exclusively by militarism and unilateral coercion, cajoling and bullying but by the change of mindset sequel to the creation of an enabling environment that will foster understanding, dialogue and tough diplomacy.
The affirmative action of Tehran in this regard substantiates the new world order that Obama out of foresight, compassion and humanity is bringing to the political landscape. In the eyes of Sen. Obama it is unwise to categorize mankind or states and or people into two factions; Bad and good; enemies and friends, evil and saints the way our dogmatic, archaic and sentimental politicking and foreign policies have demonstrated until f recent. In order words, the bad and ugly can become the better and best.
A leader must have the capacity to turn evil to good and not the other way round and in my opinion Sen. Obama has laid the foundation in such a cohesive and consistent fashion that if only we are willing, then of course together we can make the world a better place and actually help actualize a nuclear free Tehran and some many other countries that are pursuing this inimical military agenda.
The reality is obvious, Tehran is identifying with the stand of Sen. Obama since in my opinion this is about the best articulations that can enable mankind the opportunity to see in themselves the capacity for doing good rather than being treated as a “prodigal son” that is nothing more than a nonentity.
It will therefore and consequently amount to political nonentity if President George Bush and the McCain’s camp refuses to acknowledge this affirmative development and also give outstanding kudos to the young senator from Illinois for his vision, foresight and trust in humanity, rather than the kind of despairs and desperation these duos have over and over again demonstrated to the people.
We are witnessing history and for sure God is using Obama as an instrument of peace and also helping mankind to hopefully understand his ideologies and convictions and learn therefore to follow him for the sake of posterity and generations yet unborn. Our task therefore in my understanding is to give Obama our maximum support irrespective of party affiliations and political ideologies, since so far his articulations are the most concrete, precise, accurate and realistic manifesto that have the capacity to restore the nation’s pride, influence and the prevailing abysmal socio-economic and political status.
Today is yet another great day for the people’s movement for hope and change that we can believe in this country and in fact the entire world! Obama can inspire and at the same time soften the hardest of heart. He is a treasure for mankind and coming from the USA even makes him a bonus for those of us who love this country so much.
President George Bush, Sen. McCain and all your supporters, with all due respect listen to Sen. Obama, so that we can just move forward for goodness sake.

America Rescuing Democracy and Humanity
The shockwaves, pride, exhilaration and prompt universal appeal and global rejoicing sequel to the nomination of Sen. Obama as the Democratic Party presidential flag bearer of this great country is evidently the conspicuous manifestation of the viability, interactive and integrative argument that we are one, irrespective of creed, race, location and ideology, as long as there is that element of humanity within.
While I have long anticipated the ripple effects that such a scenario will portend for the country and its people, it is without doubt that the magnitude and enormous fashion in which the people of the world celebrated the victory of this dynamic, energetic, humane and compassionate senator is well beyond my imagination and comprehension. I must say kudos therefore to the people of America and all mankind for their encouragement in supporting a truly laudable and historic event second to none in the current political dispensation.
In life the necessity of evolution and revolution can never be over emphasized. A nation that cherish the ideological inclination and propagation of the culture of dogmatism that does not necessarily argument such circumstances within the horizon of realism to meet the need for change, repositioning of policies and articulation that will enhance the virtues of mankind and orchestrate patriotic sentiments is sure to become stagnated and therefore loss touch with the contemporary reality of our time.
It is in light of the above that I wish to once more state what I have been saying all along during this ongoing democratic process in this great country; Americans have once more come to the rescue of the entire mankind, by relentlessly, aggressively and steadfastly rejected the political culture that have the tendency to discriminate, divide, deceive, distorts and perpetuate the campaign of denigration, diabolism and racism.
There choice of Sen. Obama in spite of his limitations as a minority candidate coupled with the burden of being black and an outsider rather than the status of being the established one clearly prove beyond reasonable doubt that Americans are ready to work with him and begin the process of changing some of the inimical dogmatism that have plague this gigantic country.
Again, I must reiterate the fact that, not all democrats will vote for Obama, nevertheless it is important to gesticulate what has been happening during the current dispensation; many republicans and independents are for the first time in years more then willing to vote for Sen. Obama, who is a democrat. Thankfully and gleefully it is therefore eminent to also emphasize this unique development and broadmindedness being exercise and orchestrated by the other Americans that may not necessarily share the same political party affiliation with us.
Consequently, I am confident that what the great people of this great country have started, (democrats, republicans and independents alike), going by the transcending choice of Sen. Obama and coupled with the worldwide jubilation and outmost lavishing on the people of America and the country praises, commendations and congratulations for their progressiveness and non-judgmental attitude toward Obama, it is my sincere conviction that America and Americans will not let the world down.
Sen. Obama based on the sacrosanct demonstration by the American people will be the best position candidate to lead this great country into another era which again I must confess will have the kind of ripple effects that will be second to none in the annals of the United States of America. He has demonstrated and ably epitomizes the virtues and core values of this country and in addition, his modernization of some of these values to make them more realistic, achievable and within the reach of all Americans has for ever compassionately rejuvenate his charisma to many people world wide and particularly at home.
Indeed, I will rest my case by once more stating the facts of the matter; America has come to the rescue of democracy and humanity by choosing the candidacy of Sen. Obama as the Democratic Party presidential nominee and hoping to translate this universal gains and commendations into one that will lead to the transformational and transitional democracy that he has articulated for the country. America will soon become the abode of haven for mankind and is on its way to witness the kind of socio-economic and political prosperity that may as well go down in history as one which was exponentially possible as a result of the unison between the president and the people of the country; one heart, one soul, one mind, one goal and one dream.
God bless USA

God bless Obama
