Marriage is not about the union of like minds!
No two
persons are the same
In reality it can be seen as the kind of forces that exist
in the Magnetic field:
Opposite Forces, attracts each other: Positive (+) attracts
Negative (-) and vice versa.
These forces are not about positive charge is good or
negative charge is bad; weak or strong, and wise of foolish, rather it is
design to complement each other!
For instance, physically the husband may be tall, light
complexion and handsomely built! On the other hand, the wife may be short, dark
in color and not as beautiful (but beautiful enough in the eyes of the
beholder). Nevertheless, the two found something attractive about each other.
If you are looking for a marriage where your partner is completely
the same in terms of your expectations, dreams and facet of life, you may be
making a grave assumption!
Therefore, in whatever capacity you find yourself: wife or
husband, take advantage of the complementary role that God has given to you and
use it to bring glory to the same God and pride to your family!
One thing that must be common among husband and wife is
their desire to place God first and in so doing, experience the joy, peace and
love of the marriage union that can never be shaken by human limitations!
Sufferings become a process of purification and not
punishment.
Joy, peace and comfort becomes an inward possessions that
material worth or lack of it cannot take away.
Every opportunity becomes a learning experience to draw us
closer to God and make us completely dependent on the Almighty for sustenance.
Put God first in your family and see how the beauty of
marriage will become manifested to you today.
